Artifact 2:           Teacher Interview assignment

For artifact two I chose my teacher interview, the topic of my teacher interview was the integration of technology into the classroom and how it effected the classroom environment. I asked my teacher (Mr Pastoreli) some simple questions about how he felt technology was effecting his classroom community and effectiveness and he gave me some truly great answers.  The reason that i think this interview shows my understanding of this standard is because if technology is used right it can empower students to become active and engaged learners while still providing social interactions with small groups and whole class assignments.  I think that this artifact has helped me grow as a teacher because Tom was able to give me his point of view on the topic as a teacher who started with only pen and paper but has been given the chance to see what students who have one to one laptops are able to do in a classroom. Overall I think that this experience was extremely informative  and i’m glad that i was able to learn so much from it.
